Heating, cooling and energy services for Wildwood homes and businesses.
Wildwood, New Jersey
Comfort Pro’s shop sits right on Park Blvd in Wildwood, this is our hometown, not the far edge of a service map. From the doo-wop motels of the Crest to year-round homes off New Jersey Avenue, we keep Wildwood cooling through boardwalk season and heating through the quiet winters.
Wildwood puts unique demands on HVAC. Rental properties need everything working by Saturday check-in. Motels run AC flat-out all season. Salt air works on every outdoor unit in town. Being based here means a Wildwood service call is a short drive, not a scheduling problem, and it is why so many of the Google reviews on this site come from your neighbors.
Wildwood is a barrier island, which means every outdoor condenser in town spends its whole life inside a salt-laden onshore breeze. Salt does not just dull the fins on a coil, it eats the aluminium and copper joint by joint, and a unit that would run fifteen years three counties inland can be leaking refrigerant years earlier here. The city also runs on a season. A motel on Ocean Avenue or a rental off Atlantic runs its air conditioning flat out from Memorial Day to Labor Day, then sits untouched for eight months, which is its own kind of abuse: seals dry, capacitors sit at rest, and drain lines silt up. The failures we see in July are usually the ones that were set in motion the previous October.
Very little of Wildwood is one type of building. The Crest is full of mid-century doo-wop motels with room-by-room units and shallow attics. Toward New Jersey Avenue there are year-round single-family homes with conventional ducted systems. In between sit hundreds of two and three unit rentals where one meter, one panel and one drain stack have to serve several families at once. Those are three different HVAC problems. A motel wants equipment that can be swapped fast in season without closing rooms. A rental duplex wants zoning so one tenant cannot freeze the other out. A year-round home wants a system sized for January as well as August. Being based on Park Blvd means a Wildwood call is a local call, and the shop is the address on this page, not a dispatch centre somewhere up the Parkway.
Testimonials
The electric stopped on my AC unit Friday at 11:30. I called Comfort Pro! They sent out a repair tech service window that day 4-6pm. Nelson the owner was the tech, he was at my condo at 3:05!! Amazing and grateful when you do not have air conditioning! Here I was cleaning and hit the emergency gas on/switch to off!! Nelson checked the unit realized what I had done! He showed me that I had turned off the switch! He told me he was the owner of the company and would Not charge me for the service call! We were interested in getting a service contract for our heating/cooling unit! They had one to offer me at a discounted price! It’s comforting to know that we now have a reliable HAVAC Company!!

I had a great experience with Comfort Pro..needed AC repaired ASAP and they were quick to come out. Nelson was great to deal with very friendly and professional. He explained exactly what was wrong and made sure everything was up and running before he left. I would highly recommend Comfort Pro and will definitely use them again

What We Do
Every Comfort Pro service is available to Wildwood homeowners:
The Comfort Pro Difference
We work out of 4403 Park Blvd in Wildwood and 186 Landing Rd in Cape May Court House. The truck comes from inside the county, not down the Parkway.
Nelson owns Comfort Pro and works the trucks. Google reviewers name him, and one describes him arriving at her condo himself to sort out her air conditioning.
The name says energy services and the work backs it up: duct cleaning, gas installation, boilers, air purification, humidity control, and efficiency work on the system you already own.
A maintenance plan puts your seasonal tune-ups on our calendar instead of your to-do list. One Google reviewer was offered it right there on the repair visit that brought us out.
