Heating, cooling, air quality and emergency work, for homes and businesses across the county.
What We Do
Comfort Pro Heating, Cooling & Energy Services is a locally owned HVAC company based in Wildwood, New Jersey. We run a second location in Cape May Court House. We serve residential and commercial properties throughout Cape May County.
Shore HVAC is its own animal. Salt air chews up outdoor condenser coils faster than it does inland. Summer rental turnover means a system that idles nine months has to work perfectly on the one Saturday it matters. Old Victorians in Cape May were never ducted. Condos on the island share walls, share crawlspaces, and rarely share the same equipment. A January nor'easter can drop the temperature 30 degrees. The boardwalk is empty by then, so nobody is around to notice a furnace quit. We build every service below around those facts, not around a generic checklist.
Service Groups
The same four groups Comfort Pro has always run, each with its own dedicated page.
Every Service

A dead AC in a shore summer is not a wait-until-Monday problem. Tell us what it is doing and we will get a technician to it.
See AC Repair
New central air, sized right for a shore home, installed clean and tested hard.
See AC Installation
Room-by-room comfort with no ductwork, the right answer for Victorians, additions, garages, and shore condos.
See Ductless Mini-Splits
One system for the whole year, efficient cooling all summer, efficient heat all winter, sized for the shore climate.
See Heat Pump Systems
When the heat quits on a January night, we answer. Furnaces, air handlers, and heating systems repaired across the county.
See Heating Repair
A new furnace, sized and installed right, whether it lives in a closet, a crawlspace, or an attic.
See Furnace Installation
Nights, weekends, holidays, the phone gets answered. Heating and cooling emergencies, anywhere in Cape May County.
See 24/7 Emergency Service
Filtration, purification, ventilation, and humidity control, because shore air outside should not mean damp air inside.
See Indoor Air Quality
The cheapest repair is the one that never happens. Seasonal tune-ups, plus a service plan you can ask about when you call.
See Maintenance & Service PlansCooling is the loud half of the year here. AC repair is the call we get most between Memorial Day and Labor Day, usually from a house full of family with a system that quit overnight. When a repair stops making financial sense, AC installation puts in central air sized to the actual house instead of the one the last contractor guessed at. Homes without ductwork, and there are a lot of them in Cape May and West Wildwood, get ductless mini-splits, which cool room by room and heat the same rooms in the shoulder season. Heat pump systems do both jobs from one outdoor unit, and the mild coastal winter here is close to the ideal case for them.
Heating repair runs 24 hours a day all winter because a no-heat call in the middle of a February night is not a next-morning problem, especially in a house with pipes near an outside wall. Furnace installation covers full replacements and the air handler and ductwork work that goes with them. Where the old system was undersized, or vented badly, or simply worn out, we say so before quoting, and the price is set before anyone starts.
Indoor air quality covers filter replacement, air purification, ventilation, and humidity control. That last one matters more here than almost anywhere. A closed-up shore house in August is a humidity problem before it is a temperature problem. Maintenance and service plans cover seasonal tune-ups, filter changes, system inspections and efficiency checks, and they put your appointments on our calendar instead of your to-do list. And 24/7 emergency service is exactly what it says: nights, weekends, holidays, with a real person on the phone and a truck dispatched.
