Heating, cooling and energy services for Rio Grande homes and businesses.
Rio Grande, New Jersey
Rio Grande is where the county actually lives year-round, the crossroads of Route 9 and Route 47, minutes from our Wildwood shop. Comfort Pro gives Rio Grande homes the same energy-conscious heating and cooling we bring to the islands, with mainland response times.
Year-round mainland homes carry a different load than seasonal shore houses. Systems run twelve months. Bills matter every month. Efficiency upgrades actually pay for themselves. That is where our energy services focus earns its keep. Right-sized replacements, heat pumps where the math works, and honest advice about what your current system has left in it.
Rio Grande sits at the crossroads of Route 9 and Route 47 on the mainland side, and it is a year-round community rather than a seasonal one. That changes the arithmetic. A shore rental runs its cooling hard for twelve weeks and its heating almost never, so efficiency is close to irrelevant to the owner. A Rio Grande house runs something almost every day of the year, so the difference between an old system limping along and a right-sized modern one shows up on a utility bill every single month, not once a summer. That is also why a heat pump is worth a serious look here in a way it is not everywhere: a system that heats as well as cools is doing useful work all twelve months.
A lot of the equipment in this part of the county was sized by rule of thumb rather than by calculation, and oversizing is the most common thing we find. An oversized system reaches the set point fast, shuts off, and never runs long enough to pull the humidity out, so the house feels clammy and cool at the same time and the equipment wears out its start components early. The fix is rarely more capacity. It is the right capacity, sensible duct work, and controls that let the system run longer at lower output. That is unglamorous, it does not photograph well, and it is the part of the job that actually shows up on a bill.
Testimonials
Many thanks to Comfort Pro. I recently had a heater problem, and the response and help I received was outstanding. The office staff were courteous and helpful. When I had mistaken the service date and arrived at my condo on the wrong day, office staff was responsive, and were kind enough to send a technician after his last job of the day was completed. Chad arrived and promptly diagnosed the problem. We scheduled a followup visit as parts were needed, and that went well. Chad again was friendly, knowledgable, and able to complete the work quickly. He is a great worker. I would highly recommend Comfort Pro, and would not hesitate to call them if I have any future problelms.

The electric stopped on my AC unit Friday at 11:30. I called Comfort Pro! They sent out a repair tech service window that day 4-6pm. Nelson the owner was the tech, he was at my condo at 3:05!! Amazing and grateful when you do not have air conditioning! Here I was cleaning and hit the emergency gas on/switch to off!! Nelson checked the unit realized what I had done! He showed me that I had turned off the switch! He told me he was the owner of the company and would Not charge me for the service call! We were interested in getting a service contract for our heating/cooling unit! They had one to offer me at a discounted price! It’s comforting to know that we now have a reliable HAVAC Company!!

What We Do
Every Comfort Pro service is available to Rio Grande homeowners:
The Comfort Pro Difference
We work out of 4403 Park Blvd in Wildwood and 186 Landing Rd in Cape May Court House. The truck comes from inside the county, not down the Parkway.
Nelson owns Comfort Pro and works the trucks. Google reviewers name him, and one describes him arriving at her condo himself to sort out her air conditioning.
The name says energy services and the work backs it up: duct cleaning, gas installation, boilers, air purification, humidity control, and efficiency work on the system you already own.
A maintenance plan puts your seasonal tune-ups on our calendar instead of your to-do list. One Google reviewer was offered it right there on the repair visit that brought us out.
